Daniel Schneider composed "Krisis" as an introduction to Metamorphosen divided into three parts, describing the emotional state of many people after the tragic events of 9/11. The Age of Darkness and Sorrow reflecting the hollowness and anxiety directly after the catastrophe. The Days of Rage and Ire, this c-minor fugue represents the rage and grief leading to revenge and retaliation. Prayer and Transformation leads to hope for better times, a change in humanity to the better. The desire than mankind after the long age of darkness and polarization may finally build a new future together."
